The Sigma Group is pleased to announce the promotion of three current employees, recognizing them for their professional accomplishments and contributions to the firm’s leadership.
Kristin Kurzka and Chris Carr have both been named as Vice President. Kevin Slottke has been promoted to Group Leader – Surveying Services.
Kurzka has 28 years of experience in the environmental consulting field specializing in subsurface investigation, remediation, and brownfield re-development. She has a degree in Geological Engineering and Geology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Kristin serves as the Geoscience Group Leader and has been with the firm since 1994. Kurzka serves as a Board Member for the Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women. She will also serve on Sigma’s Board of Directors.
Carr has 18 years of experience in the consulting engineering field, specializing in site development and utilities design. He has a Civil and Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been with the firm for 9 years, serving as the Civil Engineering Group Leader.
Slottke has 31 years of surveying experience and a Land Survey Certification from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He has led the firm’s growth in this service area and helped grow the firm’s 3-D laser scanning and UAV (drone) capabilities for the past 10 years with The Sigma Group. Slottke served as the Past President of the Society of Southeastern Wisconsin Land Surveyors. He is currently the Vice President of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors Foundation.
