The Quin
The Quin apartment development nestled between the Third Ward and Walkers Point, received the award for Best New Development – Residential. The Quin development presented many initial challenges as it was a brownfield site located adjacent to a railroad line. Working with the developer to address these challenges, Sigma provided environmental due diligence and environmental engineering services.
Good City Brewing – HQ Expansion to Century City
Sigma provided environmental due diligence services for the Good City Brewing HQ expansion, awarded Best Deal/Lease of the Year, located in the recently developed Century City site. Century City is located on the former A.O. Smith and Tower Automotive site, part of a collaborative effort to redevelop the 30th Street industrial corridor. Sigma was instrumental in helping the City of Milwaukee with environmental and engineering master planning of the corridor and surrounding area, and subsequently helping the developer, General Capital, with site-specific design and regulatory approvals, prior to their disposition to Good City.
Historic Garfield Apartments and the Griot, America’s Black Holocaust Museum
Sigma provided environmental due diligence services for the property that was previously America’s Black Holocaust Museum and Garfield School. The site is now home to the new Griot apartments and 30 affordable housing units with plans for a museum reopening in the future.
MLG Capital
MLG Capital’s relocated headquarters received Best Renovation – Office. Sigma worked closely with the project team to provide environmental due diligence services.
Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin Integrated Procedural Platform
Sigma provided environmental due diligence and indoor air quality monitoring services for the expansive and complex four-year remodeling project that was awarded Best New Development – Healthcare.
State Street Station
State Street Station received Business Journal honorable mention for Best New Development – Residential. Sigma was the project engineer, providing civil and environmental engineering and surveying services for State Street Station, a four-story, mixed-use development, located in Wauwatosa’s historic Village.
