The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) is proposing various updates and changes to Chapter 11 of their Discharge Regulations as well as to their Industrial Waste Pretreatment Program in general.  The changes include reducing sampling frequencies for facilities discharging less than 5,000 gpd.  They are also formalizing a process for requesting a reduction in sampling parameters for categorical dischargers.  Sigma currently conducts wastewater monitoring for more than 70 facilities, including several where we have been retained by the municipality/publicly owned treatment works to conduct monitoring on their behalf.  We provide these services at very competitive rates.  Check out the MMSD website (www.mmsd.com) for additional detail and call Sigma if your facility is in need of assistance.
