As part of its longtime commitment to the Milwaukee community, The Sigma Group employees and office building will play an important role in the 22nd Annual Riverkeepers Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 22. River Cleanup volunteers, including Sigma staff, who will be working on the east end of the Menomonee River Valley and Hank Aaron State Trail plan to meet at the Sigma building at 1300 W. Canal Street starting at 9 a.m. Sigma volunteers will be joined by those from Cargill as part of the cooperative effort to clean-up various locations in the Valley including Marquette University Sports Fields, Boat Works site, Stormwater Park, Miller Park and more. The Valley clean-up will be finished by noon with Sigma and Cargill employees taking the opportunity to celebrate Earth Day together after the cleanup.

The Riverkeepers and Rock the Green are hosting an Earth Day picnic at Estabrook Park in Milwaukee from noon until 2 p.m. featuring music, local food from sustainable vendors and eco-education from community innovators.
