Sigma cleans up for a cause in the Valley
Employees and family members from The Sigma Group explored, scoured and picked up trash in the habitat surrounding their office building in the Menomonee River Valley as part of the Milwaukee Riverkeeper’s 22nd Annual Spring River Cleanup on April 22 in Milwaukee.
Filling bags of litter along with other volunteers and families at events like the Annual River Cleanup is a fun and meaningful way for Sigma staff to collaborate and connect. 2017 marks Sigma’s 10th straight year working on the River Cleanup, which is just one of several activities where Sigma supports the environment and Milwaukee community.
Sigma has long been an active member of the Menomonee Valley neighborhood. Besides locating its offices at 1300 W. Canal Street since 2003, Sigma has provided a wide array of engineering and consulting services for projects including Badger Railing, Caleffi North America, Cargill, Charter Wire, City of Milwaukee, Derse Exhibits, Harley-Davidson Museum, Hank Aaron State Trail, JF Ahern, Lohmann-Rauscher (formerly Solaris), Miller Park, North Bank Trail, Palermo’s Pizza, Rishi Tea, SE Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District, Taylor Dynamometer, Three Bridges Park and Urban Ecology Center.
