This recent Urban Milwaukee story describes The Quin, a five-story residential apartment with retail space building under construction in Milwaukee’s historic Walker’s Point neighborhood being developed by Linden Street Partners and built by Altius Building Company. The Sigma Group, Inc., has provided environmental services related to the assessment and remediation of this brownfield. Activities have included investigation of soil and groundwater impacts, a vapor and methane gas assessment, and preparation of cost effective and WDNR approvable remedial activities to be implemented as part of the site development.
