Sigma designs roadway and intersection improvements
menomonee falls, wisconsin
This project involved the development of a 54+ acre vacant brownfield site to accommodate the First Park Menomonee Falls Distribution Center. A major component of the development included the construction of 3,500 linear feet of public roadway, and installation of a signalized intersection.
The Sigma Group prepared design plans for the roadway improvements including horizontal and vertical curve design, pavement design, intersection design, erosion control, stormwater management, grading, plan/profiles, cross sections, signage, utility plans, and marking and traffic control plans. The plans were prepared using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The 3D computer model was used for design evaluation, quantity takeoffs and to automate many aspects of plan production work.
