The Moorland Reserve development is a 35-acre medical office park in New Berlin with bike and pedestrian trails along with public roadway and utility infrastructure improvements.

Roadway Design
Prepared design for the reconstruction of Beloit Road (CTH I) from a rural section to and urban roadway section; expanded Moorland Road (CTH O) from four lanes to six lanes through the project limits. Project also included reconstruction of the Moorland and Beloit roads signalized intersection along with temporary signal plans and a new signalized intersection on Moorland Road at the Target drive entrance. Design was based on WisDOT FDM standards including, plan and profile sheets, cross-sections, construction staging traffic control plans, pavement marking and signage plans.
Civil / Site Engineering
Prepared overall site planning and engineering involving master grading, internal access road, drainage facilities, erosion control, public and private utilities, lighting, retaining walls and landscaping.
Stormwater Management
Coordination, negotiation, alternative analysis, permit application with approval and construction coordination to meet the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) Chapter 30 permit requirements. Prepared stormwater management plan involving three wet detention ponds to control quantity and quality of discharge to Calhoun Creek, floodplain and adjacent wetlands.
Wetlands and Endangered Species
Delineated wetlands based on existing mapping and field determination in agreement with the WDNR and Army Corps of Engineers. Established boundary of delineated area for endangered snake species in agreement with the WDNR.
Surveying
Prepared base mapping of overall site for right-of-way dedications and utility easements. Conducted property staking and construction layout.
