The Sigma Group was pleased to be part of the team recognized by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Sewerage District’s (MMSD) Green Luminaries Award for December 2017. These awards note projects led by true champions who not only recognize the need to manage stormwater, but also the need to innovate and grow, to create lasting good works that connect people and prosperity to the environment.

Christopher Carr, Sigma Civil Group Leader, attended the presentation at MMSD along with Michael Cockroft, and Jim Wasley, UW-Milwaukee Professor of Architecture.

Sigma acted as the design manager representing Wangard and the City of Milwaukee leading a team of architects, engineers, scientists and contractors to create the cutting edge sustainable water feature.

“This project is a great example of integrating innovative stormwater practices in a sustainable manner,” Carr said.
