The Sigma Group was retained to provide civil engineering and survey services for the Milwaukee Tool building expansion and site redevelopment at their headquarters in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Consisting of a 51,680 square-foot, four-story office building and 210,418 square feet of additional parking and associated landscaping, the proposed redevelopment aims to be home to nearly 600 new Milwaukee Tool engineering and marketing related jobs over the next five years.
Sigma’s involvement in the project ranged from existing site preliminary engineering plans to providing civil construction documents. An extensive stormwater management plan was required to facilitate meeting the stormwater quantity performance standards and stormwater quality standards outlined by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Sewerage District and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
