Milwaukee Harbor District wetlands project receives federal funding

Efforts to restore one of the last remaining wetlands in the City of Milwaukee are getting a big boost with the announcement of a $3 million federal grant that will help add wildlife habitat and public recreational access to a former industrial property.

The Sigma Group is leading a team of consultants planning the restoration of the Milwaukee Harbor District Grand Trunk Wetland.
