Heating oil was released into a residential basement in Oconomowoc and subsequently impacted soil beneath the multi-level basement floor.

The Sigma Group was retained by the responsible party to complete investigation and oversee mitigation efforts associated with the release. As part of the investigation and response, Sigma completed multiple rounds of sub-slab vapor sample collection and indoor air sample collection under the observation of a separate environmental consulting firm retained by the affected property owner.

[/one_half]Sigma coordinated and oversaw installation of a sub-slab depressurization system (SSDS) to mitigate the vapor intrusion risks. The site received regulatory case closure in January 2013.
