Published On: June 24, 2018

Sigma’s Bob Peschel, PE and Josh Neudorfer presented at UW-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences Green Stormwater Opportunities for Developers Exploring Green Stormwater Management’s Costs and Compliance Considerations in the Greater Milwaukee Region workshop. The professional development workshop was sponsored by MMSD, Fresh Coast Guardians, Sweet Water, and Clean Wisconsin. Sigma discussed details of leading green infrastructure (GI) strategies, general and regional challenges, and cost benefits for developers and redevelopers. The workshop program also included representatives from MMSD, City of Milwaukee, Birchline Planning LLC, and Applied Ecological Services, among others.

Sigma recognizes that stormwater management is a core component of urban site design and civil engineering and we are well-versed in the selection of best-suited GI strategies. Sigma has wide-ranging stormwater management experience that includes suburban retail developments, complicated urban infill projects, contaminated brownfields, large multi-family and mixed-use projects, master planning for large industrial parks, urban recreational parks, sporting venues, and marinas.
