The FAA’s new Part 107 regulations for commercial drone use went into effect in August 2016, promising to make business applications of drone technology more feasible than ever before. Sigma engineer Daniel Schwartz became one of the first drone operators in the Milwaukee-area to receive the new Remote Pilot – Small Unmanned Aircraft System certification required to fly drones commercially under Part 107.
