We are looking for a Staff Engineer/Hydrogeologist/Geologist with 1-3 years of experience to join our Geoscience Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist project and senior level staff in the development of sampling plans, reports, designs, specifications, and analysis required for projects (Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor sampling projects)
  • Provide technical support to project level and senior staff
  • Timely communication of scope and/or schedule changes to project level or senior staff
  • Efficient time utilization
  • Effective prioritization of tasks and responsibilities
  • Soil, groundwater, vapor, and sediment sample collection
  • Execution of field activities/data collection in accordance with SOPs and QAPPs
  • Preparation of written reports and requisite correspondence
  • Assist with the utilization of professional services technologies including computer-based software
  • Develop and maintain familiarity with current federal and state regulations and guidance
  • Assist in the development of new policies and procedures
  • Evaluate field results and write technical reports with recommendations for project level and senior staff

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Degree in Engineering, or Geology
  • Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) or Geologist in Training Exam (G.I.T)
  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
  • Accountability for quality of work, project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Effective communication – both oral and written
  • Active problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, intellectually curious, and willing to take on new challenges
