Project Construction Engineer

We are looking for a Project Construction Engineer with 4 – 15 years of experience to join our Civil Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist senior staff
• Project communication
• Work independently with minimal oversight
• Assist with training and oversight of staff
• Perform construction observation and inspections (street, underground utilities, grading, walls, bridges, buildings)
• Construction contact administration activities including project tracking, contract modifications, and pay estimates
• Review project plans, specifications, and agreements

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred candidates will have:

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering preferred, but not required
• P.E., a plus
• Experience with construction management and inspection (building, municipal, utility, DOT roadway)
• Understanding of design and construction
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software a plus
• Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges
• Strong communication and management skills
• Accountability for quality of work, project schedule, and budget
