Communications Assistant
Assists senior leadership in overall marketing communications of the Company. Implements communication programs.
Essential Functions
A. Implements the documented processes and procedures for Company marketing activities including, but not limited to:
- Design development of marketing material
- Company website
- Social media
- Implement processes for context development:
- Website, project summaries, service descriptions, news and awards, social media, LinkedIn, Facebook
B. Assist in the preparation of RFP SOQ, including:
- Organization
- Non-technical writing
- Proofreading
- Graphics
- Photography
- Printing
- Distribution
- Manage the process to ensure submission by deadline
- Exhibits for reports and other deliverables
C. Coordinate central files
- Written materials
- Photographs – site
- Logos
- Banners – Design installation
D. Collaborate with Business Development Leaders and Business Strategy Leader on areas of Business Development.
- Proposals
- Presentations
- Out reach
- Community events
- Meet and Greets
- Monitor select websites
- Resume updates
E. Provide Analytics
- Report to management
- Monthly BD/GL meeting
- Quarterly Business Development Board of Directors meeting
Education:
Minimum B.A. in marketing, communications or related field.
Experience:
Previous experience in consulting, construction or engineering.
Skills:
Excellent oral and technical writing skills, information technology proficiency (WordPress for current website), and project management. Work independently without close supervision and be capable of meeting and working with people at various levels of the company and public.
